Given that one in four Americans are more interested in the food than the football, it’s no surprise that Super Bowl parties are known for the snack spreads. Of course, there are plenty of game day classics—chips and dip, pizza, sliders, and maybe even a themed cheese board—but there’s one tried-and-true app that just screams football: chicken wings.
Whether you prefer your wings bone-in, boneless, or in dip form, chicken wings are simply a football-viewing staple, from tailgates to at-home watch parties to your local sports bars. Now, Cup Noodles is getting in on the game day fun with a brand-new lineup inspired by the fan-favorite appetizer.
Cup Noodles Debuts New Chicken Wing-Inspired Flavors
Just in time for football’s biggest weekend, Cup Noodles is embracing America’s love of chicken wings with brand-new, limited-edition offerings that pack all of the flavor with none of the saucy mess. No sticky fingers are required to enjoy the three new chicken wing–inspired ramen flavors, which include Spicy Buffalo With Ranch, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Parmesan.
Each of the three Cup Noodles flavors are inspired by classic chicken wing combos for a savory, starchy spin on the appetizer. For fans who like to bring a little extra heat to game day, Cup Noodles Spicy Buffalo With Ranch balances the signature saucy heat and tang with a creamy, herby finish reminiscent of a classic dressing-dipped wing.
For a milder (yet just as flavorful) take, Cup Noodles Lemon Pepper combines bright citrus and black pepper with garlic and onion, while Garlic Parmesan puts cheese at the forefront with creamy parmesan complemented by garlic, Italian herbs, and a light tang.
The appetizer-inspired trio is yet another addition to Cup Noodles’ unique lineup of limited-edition flavors. Past favorites have included Dill Pickle and Everything Bagel, plus the recent holiday flavors: Pumpkin Pie and Turkey Dinner. Unlike the more wacky varieties (Remember Campfire S’mores Cup Noodles?), fans are much more excited about this wing-inspired trio.

When foodie insider @markie_devo posted about the new flavors, one person simply said, “Need every single one.” Another chimed in with, “Just pre-ordered garlic parm. Is six too many or not enough?”
If you also want to try the Cup Noodles for yourself, the ramen is available for pre-order now and for purchase on Walmart’s website beginning Jan. 21. Each cup retails for $1.18, and will be rolling out exclusively at Walmart in the U.S. by the end of the month—just in time for the Big Game on Feb. 8.
